Summary:
Background: The attached change order summary and backup documents describe the scope changes made to the District Wide Safety Landscape Phase I Project at multiple sites throughout the district. These scope changes involve six separate Potential Change Order Requests (PCOs). District staff have thoroughly reviewed each request, and the work has been authorized for all six PCOs.

Change Order Consideration: The District is seeking ratification of the six PCO authorizations and approval to add the approved amounts to the original contract. No additional bills are anticipated for this project, as it is now complete. The total cost of the six PCOs is $83,882.16, representing an increase of approximately 8%, which remains below the 10% allowable change threshold.

Completion Consideration: On May 10, 2023, the Board awarded Purchase Order 240488 to KYA Services LLC for the District Wide Safety Landscape Phase I Project. The contractor has completed all work under PO 240488, and the District is now requesting approval for issuance of the Notice of Completion to be filed with the County.

Original Contract Total: $994,027.67
Final Contract Total (with PCOs): $1,077,909.83
