Summary:
|
The District has been identified as being significantly disproportionate in the area of overidentification of African American Students into specific eligibility categories for special education. The District has developed a CCEIS Plan to address this issue and has made progress in this area. The plan is implemented at six focal sites by a team of three staff members.
In order to further support the work, we propose adding a fourth staff member to support the social emotional learning of our focal scholars at the focal sites.
