Summary
:
Background: The attached change order summary list and backup documents describe (2) scope changes to Bid #1855 2020 Roof Package #2 at Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Strandwood Elementary School and Valhalla Elementary School. The (2) scope changes involve (5) separate Change Order Requests (COR’s). The MDUSD Construction Manager and District Administration have reviewed each request. The work has been authorized for all aforementioned COR’s.
Current Consideration: Ratification of the (5) COR’s authorization of the addition of the approved amounts to the original contract. The contractor may bill for the additional work once approved by the board as the scope has been verified as complete.
Fiscal Impact: The total cost of the (5) COR’s is an increase of $55,062.32. This project is funded by Program 68500, COP 18 Operating Fund and no additional funding is necessary.
