Summary:
|
On April 22, 2019, the Board awarded Bid 1836 to Svala Construction Inc., in the amount of $345,000.00 to facilitate the Bus Garage Restroom Upgrade Project.
During construction, it was discovered that additional work was required to facilitate unforeseen abatement necessary that was exposed during construction, upsized water supply and wall insulation to enhance the project as well as code violation correction on the existing switch gear as well as some minor incidental items.
The final charge order will result in a contract value of $360,965.00, an increase of $15,965.00 which is an increase of 4.63% of the original contract.
