Summary: On December 14, 2020, the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Awarded Item 17.25, Bid 1873, for landscaping of three schools, Mt. Diablo High, Oak Grove Middle, and Sun Terrace Elementary. Upon the drafting of the contract packet for this award it came to the District staff's attention that the alternative and allowance that were bid upon were inadvertently left out of the proposed award. Therefore the District staff returns with this revised Award of Bid 1873 to Suarez & Muñoz Construction, Inc. to include Alternative for Mt. Diablo High School Frontage parking Lot, for $22,000 and a Potential Allowance of $10,000 to be combined with the formally awarded bid of $919,500. The proposed revised award now totaling $951,500.

Recommendation: Move to approve the revised award for Bid #1873 Landscaping of Three School Sites [Mt. Diablo High School, Oak Grove Middle School, and Sun Terrace Elementary School] to Suarez & Muñoz Construction, Inc. to include the Alternatives and Allowance, now totaling $951,500.
