Summary:
|
On April 13, 2020, the Board awarded Bid #1861/C1861 to Cescorp dba Cal Elite Builders, in the amount of $889,000.00 to facilitate the Site Adapt for Relocatable Building and Adult Education Modular Building.
Post award, it was identified that a clerical error resulted in necessary documents to be omitted from the approved DSA Blueprints. Cost for this required work was requested from from contractor and completed as part of the installation process. The cost for this work was deemed satisfactory for had it been estimated at the time of bid. Additional minor additives were requested by staff including an service access gate, relocation of onsite storage to elevate a safety concern as well as additional support for area fencing.
The final charge order will result in a contract value of $936,224.00, an increase of $47,224.00 which is an increase of 5.31% of the original contract.
