Summary: On June 8, 2020, the Board awarded Bid #1867 to A & E Emaar Company, in the amount of $181,000.00 to facilitate the Site Adaptation of 1 Relocatable Classroom at Bancroft Elementary School.

During the course of construction, staff requested the contractor complete additional work including relocating a buried active water line, adding a hose bid and shut off as well as complete a few incidental additional items to ensure concerned neighbors wouldn't be affected by the location of the new classroom and any drainage issues.

The final change order will result in a contract value of $186,214.85, an increase of $5,214.85 which is an increase of 2.88% of the original contract.
Funding: Program 8132 - Capital Facilities Fund
Fiscal Impact $5,214.85 The project total is within budget, no additional funds needed.
