Summary: On May 21, 2018, the Board of Education awarded a design service contract to PHd Architects, Inc. for $39,000.00 for design and administrative (DSA) services necessary to complete the installation of portable buildings at Cambridge Elementary School. The proposed contract amendments will increase the previously approved contract from the original contract value of $39,000.00 to the revised contract value of $58,261.00. The amendments are necessary due to changes at DSA and in response to the Geotechnical Report and testing which shifted the building location triggering extensive redesign direction given to the architect.
Funding: Program 76080, Measure C Funds
Fiscal Impact $19,261.00, the amount is within budget; no additional funds needed.
Recommendation: Move to approve Contract Amendments #1 and #2, to PHd Architects, Inc., Service Contract for Architectural and Engineering Services for the Installation of Portable Buildings at Cambridge Elementary School
