Summary: Review and Potential Approval of additional Work-site Agreements for Student Internships for Mt. Diablo Unified School District students. Over the past three years, MDUSD has focused on expanding students' college and career readiness and access to school year and summer internship opportunities. These internships are in partnership through the Youth Employment Services (YES) Program and the district's Career Pathways programs. MDUSD has a total of 17 worksite agreements with agencies. YES is a program designed to give vulnerable youth access to work-based learning opportunities and academic and social emotional supports to obtain their high school diploma. Paid and unpaid internships will take place during the summer and school year for eligible students in both a virtual and in-person when permissible. Paid internships will be funded by grants and donations.
