Summary:

CCCEHSD requests to enter into an interagency agreement with MDAE for the period of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 for the purpose of providing adult education training and services known as the FOCUS program, for workforce development training for CCCEHSD CalWORKs and Welfare-to-Work clients. This is the annual renewal of an interagency agreement for the ongoing program development and delivery of the MDAE FOCUS program, begun in 2010-2011.
Commencing in 2019-2020, MDAE will implement a newly developed employment training, search and support services program known as Career Connections, to complement the FOCUS program to the CalWORKs and Welfare-to-Work clients of CCCEHSD.
NOTE: Please note that the attached interagency agreement has just been received from CCCEHSD, although the term of the contract is July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. The FOCUS program will begin Monday, August 12, 2019 and end on Friday, June 26, 2020 and the Career Connections program commenced Monday, July 8, 2019 and will end on Friday, June 26, 2020, as reflected on the attached program calendars proposed by MDAE and approved by CCCEHSD.

MDAE will be compensated by CCCEHSD for the FOCUS program an amount of $53,012.80. Additionally, MDAE will be compensated by CCCEHSD for the Career Connections program an amount of $63,557.20.
