Summary: Medallion Landscape Management, Inc. has an open purchase order (PO #210687) for Landscape services for $95,000.00 for the 2020/21 school year. While we rely on outside vendors to support the District as needed, the current need is greater than normal due to current vacancies within the Landscape Department. We have worked with our bargaining unit members to review work needed prior to requesting support. This existing open purchase order has been depleted due to the increased services they have provided to support irrigation repair and field restoration at multiple sites. The request of $35,000 will increase the PO for Medallion Landscape Management, Inc. from $95,000 to $130,000. We will decrease open purchase order(s) for another vendor not able to provide as much support to cover the cost.
Funding: 51100 – Routine Restricted Maintenance
Fiscal Impact $35,000 Total is within budget, no additional funds needed
Recommendation: Move to approve the increase to Open Purchase Order #210687 to Medallion Landscape Management, Inc.
