Summary:

On March 11, 2019, the Board awarded Bid 1820 to Andy’s Roofing Co., Inc., in the amount of $2,702,700.00 to facilitate the 2019 Summer Roof Project Package 3 at Fair Oaks Elementary School, Gregory Gardens Elementary School and Mt. Diablo High School (Gym Only).
During construction, dry rot was discovered that required additional work to repair. This was unforeseen condition. Additionally, during project closeout, district staff worked with the contractor representative’s to negotiate a settlement for contract extension.
The intermediate charge order will result in a contract value of $2,639,226.79, a decrease of $63,473.21 which is a decrease of 2.35% of the original contract.
