Summary:

On March 11, 2019, the Board awarded Bid 1819 to Andy’s Roofing Co., Inc., in the amount of $2,548.000.00 to facilitate the 2019 Summer Roof Project Package 2 at Monte Gardens Elementary School, Wren Avenue Elementary School and Sun Terrace Elementary School.
During construction, dry rot was discovered that required additional work to repair. This was unforeseen condition. Additionally, during project closeout, district staff worked with the contractor representative’s to negotiate a settlement for contract extension.
The final charge order will result in a contract value of $2,514,306.03, a decrease of $33,693.97 which is a decrease of 1.32% of the original contract.
