Summary:

The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) composed of 15 members was approved by the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board on 4/14/13 for the following purpose:
The BAC has a dual role:
1. Advise the Board
2. Inform the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Community
on matters related to the District's budget by:
-Reviewing and developing an understanding of the
District's and State's budget and financial issues:
-Developing recommendations on fiscal and program
priorities that support the district's strategic plan and a
balanced budget;
-Developing recommendations for clear and transparent
communication of the district's budget and financial
condition to enhance community understanding;
-Contributing to and supporting a collaborative process.
