Summary:

On May 11, 2020, the Board awarded Bid #1864 to Athens Painting and Commercial Coatings, Inc., in the amount of $224,000.00 to facilitate the Painting Summer 2020 Package 1 at Shadelands Preschool, Sunrise Elementary School, Monte Gardens Elementary School and Sun Terrace Elementary School. During construction, it was identified that additional labor and material were required to protect student murals that were not identified in the project documents. The final charge order will result in a contract value of $224,560.00, an increase of $560.00 which is an increase of .25% of the original contract.
