Summary:
|
The purchase of the computers will support the CCAP STEM program at Ygnacio Valley High School. The CCAP STEM program is a partnership with Diablo Valley College to provide dual enrollment opportunities to students interested in STEM professions. Students will be in the PLTW Engineering pathway at YVHS and will take after school dual enrollment classes. The purchase of the computers and software supports the students in engaging with the PLTW curriculum both at YVHS and, more importantly, during distant learning. The computers will also support future summer boot camps that will serve incoming 9th graders interested in joining the CCAP STEM program.
