Summary:
|
New course of study, Social Emotional Learning: The Heart of Education. This course was created through the UC Curriculum Institute (UCCI). The goal of the UCCI is to integrate A-G academic work with Career Technical Education to help students prepare for college while exploring potential career paths. This class will be the alternative capstone course in the Education Pathway Curriculum for those students who do not want to or are unable to participate in the Careers in Education course. This course has program status through the UC Portal and will be adopted as is.
This Course of Study was presented to the Board for information on June 24, 2019, and is returning for action at this time.
