Summary:

On May 11, 2020, the Board awarded Bid #1865 to Athens Painting and Commercial Coatings, Inc., in the amount of $292,000.00 to facilitate the Painting Summer 2020 Package 2 at Mt. Diablo Elementary School, Pine Hollow Middle School and Fair Oaks Elementary School.
During construction, Staff added additional scope that added additional labor and material to prep, prime and paint the existing FRP doors at Pine Hollow Middle School that was not part of the original scope.
The final charge order will result in a contract value of $300,500.00, an increase of $8,500.00 which is an increase of 2.91% of the original contract.
