Summary:
|
Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) requests approval of a Post-Retirement Contract for 2020-2021 with Margaret Scott, retired Adult Education Vice Principal, for administrative support for the Adult Education programs at the Pleasant Hill Education Center (PHEC) and as needed at the Loma Vista Adult Center (LVAC). The contract will be for a maximum of 740 hours, averaging 18.50 hours per week. Mt. Diablo Adult Education has not filled a long-vacated full-time, benefited Vice Principal position which Mrs. Scott will fill for said contracted number of hours. These hours are a reduced number of hours for this unfilled position, at a reduced cost and without benefits.

Fiscal Impact
:

Compensation to Margaret Scott will be up to $47,713.00, according to the CalSTRS post-retirement annual earnings limit for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. Mrs. Scott’s services will be utilized only as necessary and as determined by the Director, College & Career and Adult Education.
