Summary
:
Many of our childcare providers need additional space to provide appropriate social distancing for children in their programs during COVID 19, and many are expanding their programs to run from 6 am to 6 pm instead of just before/after school. Per our approved fee schedule, board policy, and Civic Center Act, facility use fees must be charged to all nonprofits, charitable organizations, and commercial groups. This presentation will review surrounding legal issues, current rates, and recommended reduced rates during COVID-19 (the 20/21 school year).
