Summary: Pursuant to Article 37 of the Contractual Agreement between Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Public Employees Union, Local One, Clerical, Secretarial and Technical Unit, a reclassification review has been completed for classifications submitted by the Reclassification Committee to the Director of Personnel Services requesting the following approvals per job descriptions as attached.

Personnel Technician. Reclassify one (1) Personnel Assistant to a new job description and position titled Personnel Technician with an increase in range from 477 to 522. New Personnel Technician job description is attached. No change in calendar work year.

This reclassification request will be effective July 1, 2015.
Funding: Unrestricted General Fund.
Fiscal Impact Increase in cost from current range to new range is a total cost of $5,354 for one (1) employee.
Recommendation: Approve reclassification of one (1) Personnel Assistant to a new job description and position titled Personnel Technician for Public Employees Union, Local One, Clerical, Secretarial and Technical Unit as presented.
