Summary:
|
Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) requests approval to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Loaves and Fishes Contra Costa (LFCC), Opportunity Junction (OJ) and Ombudsman Services of Contra Costa & Solano (OSCCS) to provide meals to approximately 65 adult students in the Career Technical Education Center (CTEC) programs at the Loma Vista Adult Center. LFCC will deliver hot meals and salads at lunch time to LVAC for this purpose four (4) days a week Monday through Thursday, August 26, 2019 through November 14, 2019. (Note: LFCC Holiday 2019 scheduled attached.)
This MOU supports MDAE to continue working with the Health Career Pathway (HCP) community partners listed above for the ongoing work of the HCP, to create a regional response to significant allied health professional staffing and quality improvement needs for those delivering care to Contra Costa County residents most at-risk for poor health while providing a pathway towards economic sufficiency for low-income individuals.
The term of the MOU is August 26, 2019 to November 15, 2019.
