Summary: Competitive procurement was conducted in accordance with the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) approved by Board Resolution #18/19-33 for Mt. Diablo Unified School District Bid #1857 for the site adaptation for one relocatable classroom at Bancroft Elementary School. The scope of work provides all materials, labor and equipment required for the regrading, new asphalt paving, electrical low voltage, and minor fencing installation. The invitation to bid indicates that the low bidder will be determined by the base bid amount only. The project received three (3) bid packages that were received on May 28, 2020 and A & E Emaar Company, is the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder.
Funding: $181,000, Program 8132 - Capital Facilities Fund
Fiscal Impact $181,000, the amount is within budget; no additional funds needed.
