Summary
:
AccentCare is a non-public agency (NPA) that provides Nursing Professionals for school based services that are identified on Individual Education Plans (IEP's). When the district (MDUSD) is not able to fill all open positions with district employees, the use of contract agencies is necessary to ensure that MDUSD is in compliance with state and federal laws that govern special education. AccentCare is a company that will be utilized to provide nursing services to ensure that all of MDUSD's needed medical services are covered for the 2019-2020 school year. AccentCare has found nurses to assist in these openings. MDUSD Human Resources Department and Special Education / Student Services Departments continue to recruit and hire district employees.
