Summary:
|
Mt. Diablo Unified School District requested bids for hardscape improvements at Ayers Elementary, Delta View Elementary, Foothill Middle, Mt. Diablo High, Northgate High, Oak Grove Middle, Strandwood Elementary, Wren Avenue Elementary, and Ygnacio Valley Elementary Schools. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: all tools, materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete selective demolition, site work concrete and/or asphalt paving repairs. The invitation to bid indicates that the low bidder will be determined by the base bid and two add/alt. amounts. There is an allowance for this project in the amount of $50,000 that will be added to the low bidder’s total base bid. This allowance will be used at the sole discretion of the district in order to resolve unforeseen conditions and add additional scope as listed on docket attachment. The project has four (4) bid packages that were received on April 6, 2021 and Bid #1886 from DRT Grading and Paving, Inc. is the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder.
