Summary:
|
Maxim Healthcare Services provides specialized health care services to MDUSD students. Services include diabetic monitoring, catheterizations, and other medically prescribed procedures. This contract will cover services for Section 504 and IEP students. Health care contractors assist the District in assuring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

The total impact is $795,000: $350,000.00 for Student Services and $445,000.00 for Special Education. These amounts are already budgeted expenses for the 2020-2021 school year. No costs will be incurred until services are provided.
