Summary: Contract has been amended for school year 15-16. Changes are in red. If approved by Board, the contract will go before Concord City Council meeting on 10/8/15.
Funding: The District had agreed with the City of Concord last year to pay half of the SRO expenses of $540,000. The $270,00 is divided among the sites. YVHS, CHS & MDHS will each pay $45,000. The District will pay the remaining $135,000.
Fiscal Impact Using last year's model: $45,000 to 399 0930 57 5802; $45,000 to 355 0930 57 5802; $45,000 to 326 0930 57 5802 and $135,000 to 500 0930 57 5802.
Recommendation: Approve the amended contract to provide School Resource Officers to Ygnacio Valley High School, Concord High School and Mt. Diablo High School for the 15-16 school year.
