Summary: In a reorganization of the Maintenance and Operations Department, a new position has been created - Maintenance Manager. The position will be a DMA Range 12 ($86,031 - $104,578).
This position will replace two DMA Senior Trades Supervisor positions, one of which has been vacant since February, and results in a savings of approximately $106,000. The remaining Senior Trades Supervisor will be moved into the role of Maintenance Manager and will be brought to the Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
Funding: General Fund, Routine Restricted Maintenance
Fiscal Impact Cost savings of $106,000
Recommendation: Move to approve the job description for Maintenance Manager.
