Summary: Effective July 1, 2014, the Department of Health Care Services, which is responsible for administering the California Medical Assistance Program (“Medi-Cal”) and the School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities Program (“SMAA”), has adopted a Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) methodology. The Contra Costa County Office of Education will be responsible for supporting the processing of RMTS claims.
Funding: Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) Budget - Program 5046
Fiscal Impact The cost of the contract will be offset by the revenue generated.
Recommendation: Approve the Medi-Cal Administrative Claiming Agreement between Contra Costa County Office of Education and Mt. Diablo Unified School District for the 2015/2016 school year.
