Summary: Being presented is a 5-year lease contract for Xerox Corporation for the replacement of the current Xerox Copier/Printer for the Print Shop with an updated Xerox Nuvera 144, and replace two D136 Copier/Printers with two new PrimeLink B9136, plus meter charges, at a cost of $12,749.05 per month plus applicable taxes. Currently the District pays $12,879.86 per month plus tax. The District will realize a savings of $130.81 per month, or $7,848.60 for sixty months, and will benefit from better more efficient machines. The District was able to negotiate this agreement by utilizing the terms of the Region 4 ESC/OMNIA Xerox Piggyback Agreement #R191104 for this new 60 month lease.
Funding: Program 5037 (Printshop Funding)
Fiscal Impact $12,879.86 per month for 60 months plus any applicable taxes ($152,988.60/year).
Recommendation: Move to approve the sixty month lease of the Xerox copiers for the Printshop, per the Region 4 Education Service Center/OMNIA Xerox Piggyback Agreement #R191104.
