Summary:
Staff recommends the purchase of three software programs from Forecast 5 Analytics: 5Cast, 5Cast Plus, and 5Sight. The three programs will be used by the Fiscal and Human Resources Department for budget planning and projections. 5Cast and 5Cast Plus focus on scenario creation, simulated collective bargaining impacts, compare "what if" scenarios, and generate visual and tabular information for stakeholders. 5Sight leverages prebuilt datasets and analytics that analyze salary and compensation trends, benchmarking with other districts, evaluate staffing ratios, and review revenue and expenditure detail beyond what our current systems can produce. The contract comes with all necessary training and 24/7 support, particularly in the production of reports for school sites and departments. If approved at the June 9th board meeting, the months of June and July will be at no cost with renewal set for August 2022
