Summary
:
Jennifer Parenti is a credentialed Deaf / Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher that provides services for DHH students that are identified on Individual Education Plans (IEP's). When MDUSD is not able to fill all open positions with district employees, the use of contractors is necessary to ensure that we are in compliance with state and federal law that govern special education. Jennifer Parenti will be utilized to provide itinerant DHH services to ensure that all of our needed services are covered for the 2020.2021 school year. MDUSD Human Resourcesl Department and Special Education continues to recruit and hire district employees.

The requested contract amount between MDUSD and Jennifer Parenti is $90,000 . This amount it already included in the approved budget for the 20.21 school year.

Move to approve the contract in the amount of $90,000 between Mt. Diablo Unified School District and Jennifer Parenti for the 2020.2021 School Year.
