Summary:
Review and Potential Approval of the COVID-19 FEMA Grant to eligible applicants for costs related to emergency protective measures conducted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Reimbursement for eligible emergency protective measures are activities conducted to address immediate threats to life, public health, and safety. MDUSD costs include supplies, materials and staff time due to COVID-19 pandemic. The FEMA grant will reimburse up to 75% of approved eligible expenses. Mt. Diablo Unified School District will submit ongoing reimbursement requests each month for eligible expenses to FEMA. The first reimbursement request for March-May 2020 is $620,167 in expenses for a potential reimbursement of $526,675.
