Mt. Diablo Unified School District requested bids for hardscape improvements at Bancroft Elementary School, Cambridge Elementary School, Gregory Gardens Elementary School, Hidden Valley Elementary School, Loma Vista Adult Education, Pine Hollow Middle School, Pleasant Hill Elementary School, Pleasant Hill Middle School, Shore Acres Elementary School, Shadelands Preschool, Sunrise Elementary School, Willow Creek Center, and Ygnacio Valley High School. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: all tools, materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete selective demolition, site work concrete and/or asphalt paving repairs. The invitation to bid indicates that the low bidder will be determined by the base bid amount only. There is an allowance for this project in the amount of $75,000 that will be added to the low bidder’s total base bid. This allowance will be used at the sole discretion of the district in order to resolve unforeseen conditions and add additional scope as listed on docket attachment. The project has four (4) bid packages that were received on April 29, 2020 and Bid #1863 from DRT Grading and Paving, Inc. is the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder.
