Summary:

Ratify submission of the No Kids Hungry Grant for Riverview Middle School. The No Kid Hungry “Breakfast After the Bell”, is a school breakfast grant funding program for schools across the United States. Grants support schools with the purchase of equipment, materials and promotional initiatives facilitating "Breakfast After the Bell" delivery models (such as Breakfast in the Classroom, Grab and Go, or Second Chance Breakfast) in an effort to increase student participation in school breakfast. Riverview has been awarded a "Grab and Go Cart" grant to purchase a Mobile Golf Cart to serve hot and cold meals to students. The total grant is $15,000.00 for the 2019-20 school year. This school breakfast program grant funding is generously supported by Amazon. |
