Summary:

Mt. Diablo Unified School District Request for Quotation(RFQ) #1892 Kitchen Paper Goods, Supplies and Products for Food Service Department was Noticed to the public June 16, 2021. The RFQ scope is to provide and deliver kitchen paper products used in packaging and serving student lunches to the Food Service Warehouse for the 2021/2022 school year (with a possible option to renew for two additional years through June 30, 2024).
District staff received four (4) proposals to the RFQ on August 6, 2021. One (1) proposal was deemed non-responsive. Due to the market uncertainty District Staff have opted to award RFQ to a pool of the three lowest, responsive, responsible bidders: P & R Paper Supply Co., The Danielsen Company, and Allied Box & Excelsior Co., Inc. Staff is presenting the pool of three vendors to share the award of RFQ #1892, using the lowest proposed cost of each item to said vendor.
