Summary:
|
Currently, management, certificated, and classified positions remain vacant. Staff is requesting that the Superintendent have the authority between July 1, 2024 through August 14, 2024, to enter into agreements and make appointments to positions.
Staff will follow District protocol, which includes vetting of applicants' paper work, interviews, reference checking, and background screening. In some cases, the Superintendent may need to approve Provisional Internship Permits, Variable Term Waivers, and Board Authorizations (Education Code §§ 44256(b) & 44258.2).
Management appointments will follow Board Policy 4351, and all management candidates will be brought to the August 14, 2024, Board meeting to be introduced and ratified by the Board.
Non-management appointments will be brought to the August 14, 2024, Board Meeting under separate personnel items for action.
