Summary:
|
The School Accountability Report Card (SARC), in general, provides background information about the school and its students, summarizes the school's mission, goals, and accomplishments. In addition, by state law, the SARC contains demographic data, school safety and climate for learning information, academic data, school completion rates, class sizes, teacher and staff information, curriculum and instruction descriptions, postsecondary preparation information, and fiscal/expenditure data.
The SARC provides parents and the community with important information about each school. The SARC can be an effective way for a school to report on its progress in achieving goals. The public may also use a SARC to evaluate and compare schools on a variety of indicators.
*Note. The Teacher data tables (i.e., Table 6-Teacher Preparation and Placement, Table 7-Teachers Without Credentials and Misassignments, Table 8-Credentialed Teachers Assigned Out-of-Field, and Table 9-Class Assignments) will not be available at this time. When these CDE populated data become available, the SARCs will be updated to reflect the completed data tables.
Attached are examples of a few SARCs. All SARCs can be found in the following link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BnKW8dkPe9yvCxAnkSsztixfwU3z9HTT?usp=sharing
