Summary: The Department of English Learners and Dual Language Programs has purchased the Ellevation Platform to house data of English Learners. The Ellevation Education Summit will be held in Boston, MA on Nov. 14th and 15th. The Summit is designed to bring multilingual education leaders together to learn from experts in the field as well as to collaborate with district leaders to improve outcomes for multilingual students. Kathryn Fireman was invited to attend the Summit, including registration, lodging and meals are covered through Ellevation. The district will cover all transportation costs. Upon her return, Ms. Fireman will share her learnings and observations with the EL Department and site administrators.
