Summary:
|
Sprouts Healthy Communities is sponsoring a Growing School Gardens Summit conference and has asked that Mt. Diablo Unified staff present on their expanding Healthy Kids program. Sprouts has been impressed with the unique level of collaboration between school sites, Educational Services, Food & Nutritional Services, Maintenance, the School Board, and community partners. The conference is in Denver, Colorado April 22-25, 2022 and Mt. Diablo's Chief of Educational Services, Director of Food & Nutritional Services, and Director of Maintenance & Operations are requesting approval to attend to represent the District.
