Summary: In order to continue to provide fresh produce on Salad Bars through the month of November, Food and Nutrition Services is requesting to increase the PO from Bay Cities from $109,000 to $185,000. Purchasing has advertised an RFP for Fresh Produce, which is due by October 26, 2023 with an anticipated Contract start date of November 27, 2023. This contract will cover FNS produce needs for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year with an option to renew for two additional years.
Funding: Fund 13
Fiscal Impact Increase of $76,000 to bring the PO to $185,000.
Recommendation: Move to approve an increase in the Bay Cities Produce PO from $109,000 to $185,000 for the 2023/24 school year.
