Summary: Purchase Order #222132 for vendor, Arcadio's Produce is for Milk and now to be included, Fresh Produce for the 2021-2022 school year and the Purchase Order was originally for $275,000. Food and Nutrition Services Staff is requesting and increase of $100,000 to be used to purchase Fresh Produce in the 2021-2022 school year. Due to the Supply Chain Crisis in California the vendor will help support as another vendor to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables to be offered to students.
Funding: Cafeteria Account Fund 13
Fiscal Impact The $100,000 increase is to bring the total to Purchase Order #222132 to $375,000. (Total is within the Food & Nutrition Services budget for the 2021-2022 school year)
Recommendation: Move to approve the $100,000 increase to Purchase Order #222132 with vendor, Arcadio's Produce, for Fresh Produce in the 2021-2022 school year.
