Summary: In accordance with the Measure J Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) Bylaws and California Education Code, the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board of Education will recognize and express appreciation to six outgoing members of the CBOC whose terms of service have concluded. These individuals have completed two full three-year terms—the maximum service allowed under the bylaws—and have contributed significantly to ensuring transparency, fiscal accountability, and community trust in the District’s bond program. These members have volunteered their time and expertise to review and report on the use of voter-approved bond funds, helping to ensure that expenditures are aligned with the intent of the Measure J bond initiative and in support of safe, modern learning environments for students. Member Debra Mason Moved, Member Keisha Nzewi seconded to approve the Amended motion 'Move to approve that the board recognize and thank the above named individuals for their six years of dedicated service on the Measure J Citizen Bond Oversight Committee thereby concluding their terms as of August 21, 2025, except that the member may continue to serve until a successor member has been appointed.
