Goal 1: All students will receive a high quality education in a safe and welcoming environment with equitable and high expectations, access to technology, and instruction in the California State Standards that prepare them for college and career. Changes to education code further define and clarify the rights and responsibilities of foster youth and staff, as reflected in the proposed updates to board policy and administrative regulations.
This was brought to the board for review on June 14, 2023 and is now being brought back for approval.
Staff recommend updating the board policy and administrative regulation to reflect the changes in education code.
