Summary:

Mt. Diablo Unified School District Bid #1881 2021 Summer Roofing Package #1 requested for roof renovations at El Monte Elementary School, Meadow Homes Elementary School, Walnut Acres Elementary School, and Woodside Elementary School pursuant to PCC ยง20111.6. The scope included the replacement and refurbishment of school roofs. The project requested both hot application and cold application pricing. The District resolved to use the hot applied based bid, as well as a Potential Allowance of $240,000 to be combined with the presented award. Seven (7) bid packages were received on February 12, 2021 and two (2) of the packages were incomplete and deemed non-responsive. Best Contracting Services, Inc is the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder.
