Summary: School Psychology Group is a local provider of independent educational evaluations at district request. Independent educational evaluations can be requested by parents when they are in disagreement with a district assessment within the legal timeframe of two years per the procedural safeguards in special education. An amendment was approved for $16,000.00 by the board at the February 23, 2022 meeting. This second amendment is to cover anticipated costs for the remainder of the 2021/22 school year.

Fiscal Impact The increase of $1,000.00 brings the contract total to $36,500.00. Requested funds are a budgeted expense in the 2021/22 budget.
