Summary:
|
FCMAT (Fiscal Crisis& Management Assessment Team) was tasked with a full fiscal health analysis after three consecutive qualified budgets were submitted and approved by the Governing Board and verified by the Contra Costa County Office of Education. A team of reviewers spent two months working with staff, conducting interviews, and analyzing provided documents to provide an objective perspective on best practices for fiscal health in public school districts. The report reflects the analysis of the FCMAT team. A presentation on the report will be made to the Governing Board by a member of the FCMAT team and the MDUSD staff will then work with the Governing Board to resolve areas where improvement is needed and practices updated.
