Summary:

On February 19, 2021, District staff received four (4) responses to E-Rate Form 470 Bid #210013745 for Internet Services for the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Upon the review of each proposal and the comparison of the needs of the district, staff has determined that Contra Costa County Office of Education presented the most responsive, responsible proposal. The proposed cost for 36 month Internet service is $115,000 for 25 Gigabits per second (Gbps) to our sites and departments, prior to E-rate discount/reimbursement of 60 percent (Reimbursements are not guaranteed and are often a year in arrears so the total is listed under fiscal impact despite a good chance of reimbursement). The proposed services for this agreement are from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024 (36 month).
