Summary: This position ensures that the District has an individual whose primary responsibility is managing investigations of complaints under the District’s Title IX, non-discrimination, uniform complaint and Williams policies as well as personnel investigations involving allegations of serious misconduct. This position ensures the District's compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 (20 U.S.C. §§ 1681 et seq.)--prohibiting sex discrimination; Uniform Complaint Procedures (5 C.C.R. §§ 4662 et seq.)--prohibition violations of federal or state laws including unlawful discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or bullying; and Williams Complaints (5 C.C.R. §§ 4680-4687)--addressing complaints regarding instructional materials, teacher vacancy or misassignment, and school facilities.
Funding: Unrestricted General Fund
Fiscal Impact $250-275k (including statuatory benefits) per Fiscal Office
