Summary:
|
Fiscal is requesting 2021-22 funding on the current $50,000 multi-year contract between MDUSD and Robert Half International Inc. to provide appropriately trained temporary support in fiscal. 2021-22 is the second year of this multi-year contract.
In order to maintain adequate staffing for work that needs to be completed at certain times of the month in excess of what we have in available staffing, due to vacations, staff shortages, work impacts from COVID leaves, and workloads impacted by COVID-related work. Robert Half International Inc. is able to provide accountants, payroll staff, account clerks, and other highly skilled staff. The contract is funded from program 34220 and needs Board approval as the total exceeds $25,000.
This increase is necessary due to temporary staff shortages in benefits and technology, as well as short term technology needs to address the one-to-one chromebook program and reallocation of devices to sites in need for upcoming testing.
